My cats are really energeric (sometimes annoyingly) and t hey rarely gets tired. But when the sun is up and the room is hot, they become lazy like this. They will get up at cool night and start to mess with things again while I’m trying to sleep…

So it’s been a month and half since I got my two kittens. Now I can talk more about how it feels like to have ‘two’ instead of one.

Pros

As you can see in the movie above, sometimes you laugh only because there are two actress. Two make the story different from one. And of course, you can enjoy ’solo’ comedies as well.

If one of your cat does not come to you, another will. Sometimes you want to hold cat for long time, but they don’t like it. So I just hold one by one, letting one rest while I pet another.

You can share cats with family. I live with my mom, so she take one while I take another.

Guests who love them have more opportunity to play with kittens because there are two.

Cons

Cat ‘poo’ a lot, and I get double that amount. I’m currently teaching them to use human toilet.

Grooming time, nail cut time, medicine time, washing time, etc is all twice as long as when you only have one kitten. They try to escape a lot so it can take a lot of time to take care of both.

Sometimes you cant find one or both when you need them. Even if you catch one, it will try to escape before you can catch another.

Medical cost, food cost, litter cost, all these are doubled. Doubling the medical cost can go crazy, so you should be really prepared.

Overall

I’m happy adopting two of them. I feel happy watching them play together while I’m too busy to give them attention. Yes it takes a lot of time and money to take care of ‘two’, but it can be twice or more rewarding.

While Luna seems to be doing fine, Sola has started to do something strange on toilet. She pees into human toilet with training sheet, but she poops on the floor of bathroom… This is happening probably because she doesn’t wanna step on the urine on the rings. Maybe I’ll remove the last ring so she doesn’t have to step on the ring to poop.
